Possession of a valid preliminary administrative services certificate and successful completion of EDA 607 and EDA 608.
Course Description
Capstone course in the Professional Clear Administrative Services Credential program. Engages candidates in assessing progress in completing activities proposed in Induction Plan, evaluating completed professional development activities reviewing, refining, and completing plan for field-based project, and assessing and submitting administrative portfolio and its artifacts. Individual work with instructor and mentor, peer review of goal attainment proposed in Induction Plan. Emphasis on ethical conduct, instructional leadership, continued personal and professional development, and sensitivity to diverse communities.
The goals of EDA 609 are to enable candidates to assess their Professional Clear Administrative Credential coursework, Induction Plans, mentoring experiences, and the completion of their plan for a field-based project in the context of their individualized current and future professional growth needs; and to engage them in building a consultative and supportive network of fellow instructional leaders.
