Financial Aid Summary

At National University, we are committed to helping you all the way to graduation (and beyond!). That’s why we offer several avenues to help relieve the financial burden of higher education.

Grants and Scholarships

As a nonprofit institution, National University tries to provide as many scholarship and grant opportunities as possible. Each year, we award tuition scholarships and grants to educationally and economically disadvantaged students. All scholarships and grants are based upon eligibility rules that focus on financial need.

Loans

Loans differ from grants and scholarships in that they must be paid back. Some loans may be subsidized by the U.S. Department of Education, while others are offered unsubsidized. The difference between the two is that the U.S. Department of Education pays the interest on a Direct Subsidized Loan while you are in school, and you are responsible for paying the interest on a Direct Unsubsidized Loan.
