Course Description
Initial course in the Professional Clear Administrative Services Credential program. Focus on development and planning an individualized candidate induction plan that guides the choice and content of the program. Identification of professional growth opportunities, including non-University work, developing a plan for a field-based project aligned with the candidate's needs and interests, and introduction to the mentoring process and selection of a mentor. Discussion of key administrative issues and preparation of a current administrative portfolio.

The goals of EDA 607 are to provide candidates with options to pursue professional development coursework and other opportunities according to individual needs, interests, and those of the school districts in which they work; to encourage consultation and supportive networking with instructional leaders with curricular expertise and educational leadership; and to establish a professional support network of colleagues.
