Test Accommodation Services
Once students receive an Accommodation Letter, students are required to complete a test orientation in order to begin using their approved test accommodations. To complete your Test Accommodation Services Orientation, review the Test Orientation Powerpoint document and complete the Mandatory Checklist online form below:

Should you have any questions or would like to review this information with a SAS staff member, please request an appointment with the Academic Accommodations Coordinator. Students are required to complete their test orientation a minimum of two weeks prior to their first exam request.
For any test accommodation requests for onsite quizzes or exams, in addition to completing the test orientation, students are required to fill out the Onsite Test Accommodation Request Form (OTARF). The form must be received by SAS five business days before the requested date.
Please note: It is the student’s responsibility to confirm services are secured by contacting Student Accessibility Services at email@example.com 48 hours prior to the start time of the requested event. The University will do its best to fill requests; however, it may be impossible to coordinate onsite test accommodation services for requests made less than five business days before the requested date.
Additionally, requests made during non-business hours (before 8:00 am and after 5:00 pm Monday-Friday) may take additional time to fill.
Exams in Blackboard
Additional test time is not automatically applied to quizzes and exams in Blackboard. Students are responsible for providing a copy of his/her accommodation letter and communicating to their professor of record to change their test time for each exam/quiz to reflect the approved test time extension. The professor of record should contact National University’s Faculty Concierge team at 1-877-533-4733 Option 2 to serve as the resource in assisting with the adding the extended testing time. Note Taking Services
Note taking services are provided for students on a case-by–case basis. Arrangements for note exchanges are between the student registered with SAS and the note taker. Students and their note taker are required to submit the Student Note Taker Verification Form within the first week of their course.
