Examines the environment to be secured, and defines the attributes of that environment. Includes securing the environment, security technologies in the environment, security threats and security responses.
- Illustrate by cases the dynamic relationship of humans, processes and the technology usage.
- Analyze techniques to mitigate malicious software attacks.
- Explain how authentication is used with cryptography to secure information access.
- Write a report on the testing of a virtual machine for usage in lab exercises.
