Course Description
This course focuses on risks, contracts and legal issues related to project management engineering. This course provides an understanding of basic principles of contract law. In addition, this course summarizes a survey of contracts, sales, agencies, personal property, commercial paper, and associated topics. The course also covers materials on the theories and principles of risk management. In addition, it explores a range of project related problems, including cost estimation, pricing competitive bids, risk allocation, and incentive contract design, evaluation of threats and opportunities, buffer management in a supply chain, investment appraisal, portfolio management and strategy formulation.
