Minor in Technology

Add a minor to your bachelor’s degree, and receive a well-rounded education that covers IT management and information systems.

Students can earn a minor in technology to accompany a bachelor’s degree, by completing the information technology management course and information systems course, for a well-rounded education. Both courses provide the knowledge needed for a technology-focused career, post-graduation, or for moving on to related graduate studies. These courses add to student expertise and allow for further exploration into their interest in technology.


Requirements for the Minor (6 courses; 27 quarter units)
Core Requisite(s):

To constitute a technology minor, students must select any six upper division courses from the following technology areas. All prerequisites must be met for courses selected.

  • Information Technology Management (ITM)
  • Information Systems (CIS )
