Captioning or Interpreting Services

If you would like to request captioning or interpreting services, however, you have not yet registered with Student Accessibility Services (SAS), visit the Getting Started: Student Eligibility page.

After receiving your Accommodation Letter, you will need to use the appropriate online forms listed below:

Please note: It is the student’s responsibility to confirm that captioning/interpreting services were secured, so contact Student Accessibility Services at accessiblemedia@nu.edu 48 hours prior to the start time of the requested event. The University will do its best to fill interpreting requests; however, it may be impossible to coordinate interpreters for requests made less than five business days, before the requested date.

Additionally, requests made during non-business hours (before 8:00 am and after 5:00 pm Monday-Friday) may take additional time to fill.
