Ms. Jocelyn Corrao

Personal Information


Jocelyn Corrao has been part of the Nursing Department since June 2009. Her areas of expertise include Leadership and Management, Health Assessment, Fundamentals, and Medical-Surgical nursing courses. Ms. Corrao is a doctoral candidate in Nursing Education and Adult Education. She has earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Thomas Edison State College, a Master in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University, and BSN-Nursing and BS-Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is certified in Distance Education and ANCC certified in Gerontological Nursing with Registered Nurse licensure in Wisconsin and California. She was instrumental in implementing Simulation Learning at the Los Angeles Center. In addition, Ms. Corrao provides consultant services for health education initiatives and is active in several professional organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau International, National League of Nurses, Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses, among others.
