Personal Information

Jocelyn Corrao has been part of the Nursing Department since June 2009. Her areas of expertise include Leadership and Management, Health Assessment, Fundamentals, and Medical-Surgical nursing courses. She was instrumental in implementing Simulation Learning at the Los Angeles Center. Ms. Corrao is currently pursuing her Ed.D in Nursing Education and Adult Education. She has earned a Master of Science in Nursing, from Thomas Edison State College, a Master in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University, and undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is ANCC certified in Gerontological Nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin and California. Ms. Corrao is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, National League of Nurses, Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses, National Gerontological Nursing Association, Association of California Nurse Leaders, and The Chair  Academy.
