Committed, artistic, visionary, right-brained. This handful of words describes individuals drawn to careers in media arts, broadcasting, journalism, video game design, and digital cinema. Motivations may vary, but those in the creative, media, and communications community share a passion for their craft.

The School of Media and Communication combines several successful graduate and undergraduate degree programs in new and unique fields. Media and communication features programs in the burgeoning fields of digital cinema, video game production, digital entertainment, broadcast media, educational technology, 'new' media journalism, and strategic communication. 

The school is based in San Diego and has a large strategic presence in Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, and San Jose. The school offers convenient access to professional instruction via online and onsite programs.
