About the Scholarship
The STEP Scholarship supports community college students who are ready to advance their education with a bachelor’s degree at National University. It provides financial assistance to help you build on the credits you’ve earned and continue toward your academic goals.

Fast-Track to Your Degree
Eligible community college transfer students can receive a 20% tuition reduction, giving you access to NU’s 4 week courses, flexible online options, and transfer friendly structure so you can finish your degree sooner and with fewer financial hurdles.

Eligibility Criteria
Scholarship applies to newly enrolled and re-entry students, including those who previously withdrew, if eligibility requirements are met
Scholarship applies only to one institutional tuition discount at a time.
To qualify for the STEP Scholarship, students must:
- Transfer directly from a community college to NU
- Have completed at least one semester at a community college within the last five years
- Have never enrolled at a university prior to transferring to NU
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0

Who qualifies for the STEP Scholarship?

Can this scholarship be combined with other discounts?
No. The STEP Scholarship cannot be stacked with other institutional discounts or scholarships. Students may only receive one institutional scholarship at a time.
