Kenneth Kay received his BS in Criminolgy in 1977 from California State University, Fresno, California. He then received his JD from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, Sacramento, California, in 1980. Later he received his LLM in taxation from McGeorge School of Law (1985). He is an active and licensed attorney and member of the State Bar Association of California. He is admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of the State of California, by the Eastern District of the United States Federal Courts, and by the United States Tax Court. Mr. Kay practiced law for many years in California. He also ran for a California State Assembly seat for the 30th Assembly District. He remains active in his community. While attending law school, he was named to the Dean's Honor Roll, admitted to the Traynor Scholastic Honor Society, and appointed a member of the McGeorge School of Law National Moot Court Executive Committee. Mr. Kay is a published scholar and is well respected by his peers and by his students. He first taught for National University as an adjunct from 2001-2005. Since 2005, he has served as a full time faculty member for National University.
