National University offers all public safety personnel — plus their spouses and dependents —a 25% tuition scholarship applicable to associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s programs, or a 15% scholarship for doctoral programs*. With over 190+ degree programs, plus credentials and certificates, you can choose programs in areas such as criminal justice, homeland security, and public administration. Finish faster with convenient online course formats and monthly or weekly starts.

National University also provides credit for many prior career-training programs.  NU prides itself on its strict alignment with official training standards for several public safety agencies, including Basic Correctional Juvenile Academy and Adult Corrections Officer Course (BSCC), getting you even closer to achieving your goals.

Basic Correctional Juvenile Academy – California

Students who possess proof of certification and/or completion of the California Basic Correctional Juvenile Academy are eligible to receive credit. A training transcript or record of completion must be attached to the eForm.

Adult Corrections Officer Course (BSCC) – California

Students who possess proof of certification and/or completion of the California Adult Corrections Office Course are eligible to receive credit. A training transcript or record of completion must be attached to the eForm.
