Course Description

This course examines the theories of administrative leadership and the strategic application of leadership skills in an urban-government environment. In addition students will review current approaches to organizational excellence and its applicability to urban-government leadership.

  • Examine theories of administrative leadership and the application of the leadership skills and strategies in an urban government environment.
  • Develop awareness for various leadership approaches and theories.
  • Embark on developing specific skills for greater leadership ability.
