Course Description
Identifies what is inherently cinematic about original and adapted ideas for filmed content, including exploration of the unique nature of visual storytelling. Students’ original ideas are analyzed within this context.
Learning Outcomes
- Compare produced and published story concepts that are appropriate for cinematic vs. non-cinematic storytelling.
- Critique original ideas for cinematic potential.
- Generate appropriate cinematic concepts into logline format.
