Rich has been in healthcare for over 30 years. He was a hospital corpsman for 8 years before his nursing practice. He has lived and practiced nursing in 3 states (MA,NY,CA). His major areas of practice have been in behavioral health and community health. He has been with National University since 2004, first as an adjunct then as a full time Assistant Clinical Professor. Rich has spent the majority of his career in various positions in home health and hospice both as staff and in management. He is married and has one son. He and his wife live in San Diego with their dog Beatrice.
