Dr. Harper’s experience is grounded in educational and leadership roles, reflecting a variety of cross functional venues. Settings include hospital, critical care units, medical groups, and health plans where she led multidisciplinary teams for diverse clinical and administrative projects, using technical, leadership and quality improvement rubrics for success. She has developed curricula for post graduate nurses, physicians and health care administration students, which comprise modular learning, internships, post fellowships, along with master-level programs. Her career began in nursing, and progressed to hospital and health plan executive positions. In the last fifteen years, her principal focus has been as a consultant and educator for health care and academic systems.
In addition to the education noted, she has had multiple clinical and administrative certifications, including case management, risk management and a black belt designation in Lean Six Sigma. Each underscores her professional development and commitment.
