Overview

The Associate of Arts with a concentration in medical billing, coding and information technology degree is designed to prepare students in one of the ten fastest growing career fields in the nation, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.  Through this program students will be prepared for the healthcare workforce and to continue their educational path.  Students will learn the essential skills to help prepare them for a career in this growing healthcare field.  Students will be prepared to sit for the National Certified Insurance & Coding Specialist (NCICS) Exam, the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and/or Certified Coding Associate, CCA exam.
