Thanks to a generous gift from the Trellis Foundation, we can offer a new scholarship specifically for Texas Community College (TCC) faculty. This scholarship provides $5,000 toward tuition, awarded at $1,000 per each of the first five classes. This empowers faculty members to pursue their passions for lifelong learning, teaching, and expanding their professional knowledgebase.

What You Should Know
Recipients are selected by the NU scholarship selection committee. To be considered, you must:
- Submit the Trellis Foundation Scholarship application by May 31, 2026
- Have started or begin courses between February 2, 2026, and July 20, 2026
- Complete the admissions application and complete all admissions requirements to begin the program by June 29, 2026
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before submitting your application
- NU will verify applicants’ Financial Eligibility before confirming final awards
- Students who have previously completed courses at NU entering the same degree level must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0
