Padres Scholarship Opportunity

National University is proud to offer this scholarship to active-duty servicemembers and Veterans through our partnership with the San Diego Padres. Selected recipients will receive a $7,500 scholarship toward an associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program at National University.

About the Scholarship

  • A $7,500 scholarship to be awarded over the first three courses ($2,500 per course)
  • Must start an associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program within 90 days of being awarded the scholarship
  • One active-duty servicemember and one Veteran will be selected for each eligible game
  • Selected recipients must be able to attend a Padres game at Petco Park

Apply by the following deadlines to be considered for each of the following games:

  • June 7 game (Open to any branch)
    Apply by: May 15
  • June 28 game (Open to any branch)
    Apply by: June 5
  • July 12 game (Open to USMC only)
    Apply by: June 19
  • August 23 game (Open to USN only)
    Apply by: July 31
  • September 20 game (Open to any branch)
    Apply by: August 28

Selected recipients will be provided with two tickets to the game for which they’ve been selected.

How It Works

To be considered for the NU Padres Scholarship, you must apply to National University and complete the scholarship application form by the deadline for each game to be considered. You may select multiple games on your scholarship application form if you are available to attend more than one. Recipients must begin their NU program within 90 days of being awarded.

Steps to Follow
  1. Apply for the NU Padres Scholarship using the form below and submit by the game deadline.
  2. Complete the admissions application to National University and complete all admissions requirements to begin your program.
  3. Start class within 90 days of being awarded the scholarship.
