Brief Bio
of
Dr. Ronald D. Morgan
Dr. Morgan¿s career began as a high school counselor and later become a school administrator. After receiving his doctorate in Educational Leadership, he joined the faculty at the University of Redlands, where he served as Director of the School Counseling program and then Associate Dean. He also co-chaired the committee that created an Ed.D. program at Redlands and went on to chair dissertation committees. Dr. Morgan joined the faculty at National University in 2018, as the lead for the educational counseling program, at the Costa Mesa campus.
Dr. Morgan¿s research has explored: youth social issues, the many roles of school counselors, social justice leaders, educational change agents and school counselors as leaders. Recently, he has researched the school counselor¿s role in SEL, school counselor identity, and asynchronous learning in a school counseling program. His research has culminated in book chapters, numerous journal articles and a multitude of conference presentations
