San Diego, Calif. – National University, the second-largest private, nonprofit institution of higher education in California and the 12th-largest in the United States, has opened a new 31,421 square foot location on 5.37 acres in the Scripps Ranch Business Park just east of Interstate 15 at 9980 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92131, the university announced today.
The new location houses the faculty and leadership of National’s School of Business and Management and its School of Professional Studies, as well as the University’s Admissions and Student Concierge Services Center (ASCS) and Advisor Development Center.
“When an opportunity comes along to improve and upgrade any of our locations, National University has not hesitated to do so,” said Dr. Jerry C. Lee, Chancellor of the National University System and President Emeritus of National University. “Our new location in Scripps Ranch is a direct example of our ongoing commitment to the success of our academic and faculty leadership and to student support.”
The first floor of the location is dedicated to the Schools of Business and Management and Professional Studies and includes offices for the deans, department chairs and faculty, a faculty lounge, and conference suites. The second floor houses the administrative offices for the Admissions and Student Concierge Services Center and the Advisor Development Center, including a development training room, computer lab, conference rooms, and staff lounge.
