Non-Discrimination Policy Statement

National University adheres to all federal and state civil rights laws prohibiting discrimination in private institutions of higher education. The University will not discriminate against any employee, applicant for employment, student or applicant for admission on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, pregnancy (including childbirth and related medication conditions), creed, ethnicity, national origin (including ancestry), citizenship status, disability, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity/expression, veteran or military status, genetic information, domestic violence victim status, or any other protected category under applicable local, state or federal law. Pregnancy and Parenting Policy Statement

National University is committed to creating and maintaining a community where all individuals enjoy freedom from discrimination, including discrimination on the basis of sex, as mandated by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Sex discrimination, which can include discrimination based on pregnancy, marital status, or parental status, is prohibited and illegal in admissions, educational programs and activities, hiring, leave policies, employment policies, and health insurance coverage. National University has established a policy and procedures for ensuring the protection and equal treatment of pregnant persons, individuals with pregnancy-related conditions, and new parents.
