Dean Daniel Donaldson - School of Professional Studies

Meet Our Dean

Dr. Daniel P. Donaldson is the founding dean of the School of Professional Studies at National University and has guided the strategic evolution of the school since he joined the university in 2012. Previously, he served as associate vice president of academic affairs at both Park University and the University of Central Oklahoma. Donaldson also served associate vice president of distance and professional education and as associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Central Oklahoma.

In addition to administrative roles, Donaldson held the title of associate professor and has extensive classroom experience teaching subjects such as world-regional geography, cultural geography, and geographic information systems. He has published more than a dozen geography-related articles and holds doctorate in geography from Kent State University, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees in geography from California State University, Fullerton.
