Applied Engineering, MS Research Project
Course Description
This is the first course of the Master’s Research project, which focuses on the selection of an appropriate topic on one area of electrical engineering research or on an application in the specialization field. Student project teams will research the chosen topic and complete a project proposal. Grading is by H, S, or U only. Course is eligible for an ‘IP’ grade.

- Create a requirements analysis of an electrical engineering problem.
- Demonstrate a viable methodology to solve a complex problem in the electrical engineering field.
- Analyze different problem solving approaches in the scientific literature.
- Apply teamwork methods in solving an electrical engineering project.
