Scholarship Selection Process

In order to be eligible for a National University scholarship all students must complete a FAFSA

Applications are collected University wide. Once a month, applications are sorted and ranked based on either the student’s verified EFC, or GPA.

Award decisions are made based on the availability of funds, number of applicants and range of either the applicant pool’s EFC, or GPA.

All applicants considered will be notified of the final decision the Office of Scholarships. For those selected, their award will begin with their next course. Funds will be automatically applied monthly to the student’s account.

The number of awards made per month is based on the availability of funds, number and range of the applicant pool’s EFC, or GPA. The number of awards available annually is budgeted on a fiscal year basis.

The University reserves the right to adjust the number of awards available each month.
