Earned a Doctorate in Leadership Education, Master of Education in Curriculum and Instructional Design and a Bachelor of Arts, Diversified Liberal Arts Education. Possesses a current California Professional Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Clear Administrative Credential.

Faculty member in the Sanford College of Education, Teacher Education Department and Co-Director of the Center for innovation, Development, Evaluation and Research (CIDER). The Center serves as an organizing framework and management clearinghouse for a number of initiatives that have been adopted by the Sanford College of Education. The affiliates of the Center conduct research, develop educational resources, and advocate and foster collaboration for improving education. oversee and engage in several initiatives, most of which involve other organizations and agencies. Establish several new alliances, official partnerships and professional development and grant opportunities, as well as manage special projects that include the Sanford College of Education
San Diego Showcase Schools for the Sanford programs.
Founder and chief administrator for the University of San Diego, English Language Academy. Developed multilevel curriculum that supported students to successfully attain academic and linguistic proficiency to facilitate entrance into U.S. colleges and universities.
School principal in the Diocese of San Diego. Oversaw and managed total school program. Supervised, evaluated and mentored professional personnel and auxiliary support staff. Provided instructional leadership. Tracked and assured quality standards in student achievement and monitored the financial operations of the school.
Taught second and third grades. Developed curriculum and lesson plans. Implemented a variety of teaching approaches to meet the needs of students, learning styles and to enhance the overall educational experience.
Served as an Evaluator for the Diocese of San Diego to review and assess school’s Self Study Report prior to site visit. Evaluated school through onsite observations and interviews. Presented commendations and made recommendations for Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) for term of accreditation.
