PLA495 Objective Writing Capstone

Allows students the opportunity to conduct in-depth legal research using both print and online resources. Focuses on creating an objective legal document, such as an office memorandum or scholarly legal article, suitable for publication or use as a writing sample on a job interview.
- Conduct in-depth legal research on a specific area of law.
- Complete an objective legal document, such as an office memorandum, under the tutelage of a University faculty member.
- Articulate ways of critiquing their own objective legal document.
- Describe the process of proofreading and editing their objective legal document.
