National University Community Research Institute
The National University Community Research Institute (NUCRI) is an academically-oriented, practitioner-based resource entity of National University and the National University System.
NUCRI’s origin stems from the 1997 President’s Commission on Community, which was organized to facilitate National University’s commitment to a collaborative future as a community partner. The Institute focuses on community research and technology applications for integrated curriculum developments, e-learning, capacity building and education outreach, and training.
The overarching goal is to broaden participation in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) fields and facilitate the interface of technology with the Humanities, Arts, Science, and Social Sciences and Community Research.
