A Holistic Approach To Education
When you start or return to higher education, you’re not just a student. You’re a student AND a parent. A student AND a caretaker. A student AND an employee. Often all at the same time. So you need a school that can recognize and support all those “ands.” A school to help offer the confidence that yes, this is hard, but it’s totally possible, and we’re here to help make it so.
NU’s rebrand agency WongDoody developed a creative campaign around this “and” theme, delivering a heartfelt campaign platform comprising television commercials, a radio spot, social media posts, print and out of home. All of which convey to prospects and students that we’re “supporting the whole you.”

Brand Commercial: “And”
In a series of little moments in a woman’s day, we witness how she adapts to her many roles — employee, mother and wife — handles her family responsibilities and with their love and support, gains confidence to return to school. It feels as though we’re visually eavesdropping on her, admiring her courage as she handles all of her responsibilities.
Brand Commercial: “Titles”
Little vignettes chronicle the day of a single father. We see how he’s adapted his life in service of others, yet still finds moments of connection and meaning. Even though he goes by a lot of titles, he has the support to add one more — student.
Brand Commercial: “Roles”
Heartwarming scenes chronicle the day of a teacher’s aid, who plays many roles at school and at home. We witness how she’s made life happen for herself, while getting the support she needs to successfully go back to school.
