Health Coaching Consulting

Course Description

This course provides students with the opportunities to develop health and wellness coaching and consulting skills. Specific coaching will focus on supporting clients in achieving goals using empowerment techniques and gaining experience in a consulting capacity in the area of integrative health and wellness management. Preparing for health coaching certification will also be discussed.

Learning Outcomes

  • Employ an integrative health coaching framework for use with individuals and groups and practice utilizing this framework with one another.
  • Design motivational coaching practices that assist others to adopt behaviors necessary to achieve optimal health and wellness.
  • Formulate personalized health plans for oneself and several clients.
