Clinical Practice Seminar

Course Description

Focus on three of CTC Teaching Domains, and creating or revising artifacts reflecting their knowledge and skills in each of those Domains to be uploaded into their Professional Portfolio. The Professional Portfolio must be completed and approved by the instructor in order to successfully pass this course. Grading is S/U only. Eligible for In Progress (IP) grading.

Learning Outcomes

  • Integrate and apply the knowledge and skills described within Domain D: Planning Instruction and Designing Learning Experiences for Students to include TPE 8: Learning About Students and TPE 9: Instructional Planning
  • Integrate and apply the knowledge and skills described within Domain E: Creating and Maintaining Effective Learning Environments to include TPE 10: Instructional Planning #8211; Classroom Management and Collaboration and TPE 11: Social Environment.
  • Integrate and apply the knowledge and skills described within Domain F: Developing as a Professional Educator to include TPE 12: Professional, Legal, and Ethical Obligations and TPE 13: Professional Growth.
