Dr. Teri Marcos

Dr. Teri Marcos serves as Professor, Educational Leadership, at the Los Angeles Regional Center of National University. She served as a middle school teacher and administrator prior to beginning her tenure in higher education in 2001. As the current interim academic program director for NU•s Ed.D. in Organizational Innovation she facilitates teams of multidisciplinary faculty to instructionally design course content within an interagency context as central to today•s organizational thought leaders. Dr. Marcos• research foci include the exploration of high-performing, low socioeconomic (SES) cultures in which grounded theoretical frameworks potentially emerge the ways of being, knowing, and doing as uniquely phenomenological to these organizations. She is interested in both learning, and disseminating her findings, as related to those organizational factors that produce high performance within low SES cultures.
