Students will review the knowledge, skills, and standards of the graduate program in school psychology in final preparation for their employment as professional school psychologists. Student will prepare for the ETS Praxis examination, complete their program portfolios, and present their school project as part of this course. Grading is H, S, or U only.
- Interpret varied models and methods of assessment.
- Design examples of behavioral, mental health, collaborative, and/or other consultation models and methods and their application to particular situations.
- Examine the complexities of human learning and developmental processes, and techniques to assess these.
- Examine issues pertaining to individual differences, abilities/disabilities and of the potential influence of biological, social, cultural, ethnic, experiential, socioeconomic, gender-related, and linguistic factors in development and learning.
