In this two-day workshop, we’ll explore the core areas of Google Apps for Education to increase professional learning and leadership; efficiency in the classroom; and student learning and creativity. We’ll explore several themes in the Level 1 units; including creating a paperless classroom, educator and student organization of online work, and ways to measure student growth. In addition, we’ll elaborate on critical student skill sets of working in an online environment and digital citizenship. As an educator we’ll also explore creating effective lesson plans, using media, and facilitating online group work within the Google Apps suite (and beyond).
