Guided Study Practicum
Course Description
Guided study is typically (although not exclusively) an extra-curricular course that deals with material not required in the MFA in Professional Screenwriting Program. Such courses may include (but not be limited to) Advanced Screenwriting Workshops by invitation only held in conjunction with film festivals and/or screenwriting conferences.
Learning Outcomes
The guided study course learning outcomes will be specific to the guided study topic agreed upon and will be determined at the time guided study is granted.
Requirements
Students are expected to attend all class sessions, actively participate in class activities and discussions, complete examinations as scheduled, and to turn in all assignments on time. Students are also expected to read all assigned material prior to the class session in which the material is presented and be prepared to contribute to discussion and dialogue.
