This seminar focuses on developing realistic characters and writing credible dialog for entertainment projects such as movies, TV series or any filmed media in which fictional characters exist.
- Analyze the components of characterization.
- Analyze the components of dialog specific to various cinematic genres and styles.
- Integrate an understanding of character and dialog into original critiques of specific genres.
- Design and construct effective characterizations and dialog through writing exercises.
