Documentary Practicum
Course Description
Students develop approaches to documentary subjects by planning and producing several short films in a variety of documentary styles. Practicum assignments receive individual and peer group critiques.
Learning Outcomes
- Integrate original research and critique notes into a production plan for a documentary short subject film.
- Generate a shooting treatment with a coherent story structure for a documentary short subject film.
- Create short films based on documentary stylistic forms and approaches.
