Mr. Mark Dannenberg

I grew up in Escondido, California 30 miles north of San Diego. My junior year of high school I was an exchange student to England. I have a BS in World Trade, a master’s degree in international Trade with an emphasis in Japanese from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management. My first professional job was 25 years of trading hundreds of millions of dollars of commodities to the Soviet Union, Communist China, Formosa (now Taiwan), South and North Korea and other various countries. I spent a few years leading companies on the verge of bankruptcy to fiscal security. Then after writing an 857-page business plan and presenting it to General Electric Credit Corporation securing a $75 million-dollar loan I became the Vice President of Marketing and Transportation for the Chicago, Central & Pacific Railroad. In 1999 I moved to Redding, California and started my own employee benefits company also becoming an adjunct for National University. In 2007, I became the businesses lead for National University’s Redding Campus and am also the Academic Program Director for Management. I have developed courses for 3 different NU schools in four different disciplines.
