This course focuses on project management concepts and definitions, network scheduling techniques, strategic planning, risk management, cost control, and project implementation.
- Understand major project management concepts and definitions. Implement risk management and risk analysis methods while working on engineering projects.
- Utilize organizational structure standards for project scheduling.
- Incorporate elements of concurrent engineering, contracts and procurement into the developed engineering projects.
- Demonstrate knowledge of utilizing Microsoft Project 2002 tools for project planning and management.
