Course Description

Advanced topics on three-dimensional parametric modeling tools, features and functions of SolidWorks with emphasis on mechanical design solutions, standards, simulation and techniques.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand major concepts of the SolidWorks concepts and underlying principles.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of SolidWorks commands and specific design techniques.
  • Utilize SolidWorks capabilities for manufacturing practices.
  • Understand sD parametric modeling features provided by the SolidWorks software.
