Course Description
An examination of the tools and methods for incident response. Topics include preparation data collection, incident analysis preserving data, and recovery. The legal and ethical aspects of incident response will also be covered.
Learning Outcomes
- Outline the steps for conducting computer incident from detection to recovery.
- Collect and analyze data from a live system in response to a computer security related incident.
- Describe the legal and ethical requirements related to incident handling and response.
