Dr. Bernadette Baum

Dr. Bernadette Baum is a Professor and Academic Program Director for the NU Master of Arts in Human Resource Management program. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston. Dr. Baum specializes in employment law and is a certified professional in human resource management, holding two professional certifications: SPHR and SHRM-SCP. Dr. Baum’s research interests include Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Workplace Discrimination and Harassment, and Emotional Intelligence. With over 18 years of experience in teaching graduate courses in human resource management, HR legal compliance, and organizational development, Dr. Baum provides mentorship and guidance to her students as they seek to achieve their educational and professional goals.
