IT Project Management
Course Description
The focus will be on skills, tools, and ethics as they relate to Information Technology (IT) projects, programs, and portfolio management. Examines project management concepts dealing with integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resource, communication, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management.
Learning Outcomes
- Identify the processes of project management as defined by the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK)
- Recognize the professional responsibility and ethics aspects of project, program, and portfolio management
- Examine the benefits of using project management tools for IT projects
