National University Wins Award of Excellence from UCDA
National University was recognized by the University and College Designers Association (UCDA) in 2003 with an Award of Excellence in the category of photography.
The winning entry was the Legacy document, which chronicled the long term vision and leadership of National University System Chancellor Dr. Jerry C. Lee. It was one of more than 1,500 entries, from which UCDA only granted 201 awards. Other winners in the photography category included Penn State, University of Pittsburgh, University of Tennessee at Martin, the School of Visual Arts and the College of New Jersey.
The UCDA Design Competition is hosted by the University & College Designers Association in Smyrna, Tennessee. The organization was founded in 1970 to support the exchange of ideas and information relating to the unique role of designers who promote higher education.
