Maureen Evans RN earned a BSN from Murray State University. At the University of Texas at Austin, she earned a MSN with a focus in High Risk Perinatal Nursing and a minor in curriculum development. This preparation prepared her for the Clinical Nurse Specialist role. Throughout her nursing career she has focused on all aspects of the pediatric population from birth through adolescence. She has practiced in a variety of clinical settings as well as in an educational role involving student and practicing registered nurses. She returned for a post-graduate certificate as a pediatric nurse practitioner at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She has taught Nursing 315, Nursing Process III: Pediatric Nursing.
