Examines the strategies required for adapting instruction and assessment to the individual
needs of diverse learners in a wide spectrum of educational environments. Course content
focuses on the application of current effective online practices for increasing the instructors'
competency in responding appropriately to students’ diverse learning needs.
- analyze the learning styles and multicultural influences that affect student learning
- apply research based strategies specific to differentiating instruction and assessment for the purpose of improving student learning
- create a unit of study that includes multiple differentiation and assessment strategies
- evaluate the differentiated unit of study and assessment instruments utilizing student peer review
