Course Description

Examines advanced issues related to designing and evaluating behavioral assessment and instructional interventions in educational systems. The focus is on scientifically supported methods of instruction and behavior change methods, such as direct instruction and precision teaching.

Learning Outcomes

  • Analyze current instructional assessment methods and instructional design problems facing educational systems.
  • Examine the circumstances that generate problems facing education.
  • Develop solutions based on data derived from a problem analysis using behavior analytic approaches.
  • Evaluate behaviorally oriented instructional strategies supported by behavior analytic research.
