Course Description
The Medical Billing and Coding + Medical Terminology Program will give students both the complete MBC Program plus the 60-hour Medical Terminology course.
This program is designed to prepare students for entry level positions as medical coding and billing professionals. The Medical Terminology portion of the program introduces elements of medical terminology, such as the etymology of words used to describe the human body. Students learn to apply proper terminology and spelling for major pathological conditions. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be prepared to sit for the national certification exam. 300 hours.
