Course Description

This advanced training assumes students have an existing knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare sciences. It's designed to help students meet the challenge of today's changing standards by improving their coding skills. Upon completion, students will be ready to advance in their careers and to successfully complete the CCS exam. 80 hours.

Prerequisite

Students will need to complete the ed2go Administrative Medical Specialist Program and have a  high school diploma or GED.  A minimum two years of experience with: medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pathology, ICD-9-CM coding experience, and CPT-4 coding experience is required.
